About the role
Intertek is hiring a Software Development Manager to lead engineering teams on the People Assurance team, overseeing software platform development and delivery while providing technical guidance and driving cross-functional collaboration.
What you’ll do
Lead engineering teams in developing, delivering, and supporting software platforms
Provide people leadership and technical guidance
Oversee delivery execution and cross-functional collaboration
Manage Agile engineering teams
Contribute to code reviews, design reviews, and technical problem-solving
Drive continuous improvement, hiring/onboarding, and security/privacy/compliance standards
What you’ll need
Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
6+ years of software development experience with a strong technical foundation
2+ years of engineering leadership experience managing Agile teams
Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills
Experience identifying, communicating, and mitigating technical and project risks
Experience with data engineering, data warehouses, pipelines, data modeling, and cloud-based solutions
