About the role

What you’ll do

• Lead power systems consulting, advanced engineering studies, and technology initiatives
• Provide technical and project leadership for utility and grid-related engagements
• Conduct engineering analysis and support T&D infrastructure development from feasibility through operations
• Manage multiple projects, coordinate resources, and deliver technical solutions within schedules and budgets
• Support regulatory, compliance, resource, capacity, and strategic planning assessments
• Mentor engineers, develop technical teams, and represent the organization at industry conferences

What you’ll need

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with emphasis in Electric Power Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 10 years of experience in power systems studies consulting, electric utility system planning, T&D application engineering, or related field
• Experience working with electric utilities, grid operators, developers, and industry organizations
• Advanced knowledge of power systems engineering studies, modeling, simulations, T&D applications, and industry software
• Programming and automation experience in C, C++, MATLAB, Java, Perl, Python, or similar languages
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, communication, and technical writing skills; active participation in IEEE, CIGRE, EPRI, or regional organizations
