About the role

What you’ll do

• Gather and analyze requirements for mission-critical applications
• Translate operational needs into detailed specifications
• Conduct software testing to ensure systems meet program requirements and quality standards
• Support development, implementation, enhancement, and maintenance of applications
• Design and execute test cases, track defects, and document test results
• Collaborate with stakeholders and manage competing priorities

What you’ll need

• 5+ years of business process analysis, requirements documentation, workflow development, and stakeholder communication
• 5+ years of software QA/testing including test design, execution, defect tracking, reporting, and test-result documentation
• 7+ years of software analysis/testing and customized test procedure experience
• 5+ years with TFS, Visual Studio, SQL Server, MS Project, Balsamiq, Microsoft Office, and legacy systems; 2+ years in business process design
• Previous experience working within State, Federal, and/or local government; public-sector Economic Services (SNAP/TANF) or Early Child Care and Education experience preferred
• Bachelor's degree in business, information systems, computer science, or related field, or equivalent extensive relevant experience; Agile development, test automation, and enterprise application/integration knowledge
