About the role

What you’ll do

• Design, operate, scale, and optimize enterprise compute, virtualization, and storage platforms
• Support resilient systems for engineering, production, and mission workloads
• Automate provisioning and lifecycle management using infrastructure as code and CI/CD
• Diagnose and resolve compute and storage performance issues
• Develop monitoring, alerting, and dashboards for Linux systems and virtualization platforms
• Manage virtualization platforms and storage architectures with high availability and fault tolerance

What you’ll need

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or STEM plus 1+ years of systems engineering experience, or 3+ years of systems engineering experience in lieu of a degree
• U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, asylee, or eligible to obtain required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State
• Experience deploying and supporting Linux servers in physical and virtualized environments, including Linux shell and system configuration
• Experience operating production virtualization platforms such as VMware vSphere/vCenter, Hyper-V, or KVM
• Experience architecting and operating enterprise storage protocols and platforms, including NFS, iSCSI, Fibre Channel, NVMe-oF, NetApp, and Pure Storage
• Experience with automation frameworks, infrastructure as code, CI/CD, scripting, monitoring, and containerized applications
