About the role
Lambda is seeking a Cloud Support Engineer I to deliver customer support for its AI cloud infrastructure, resolving complex software/hardware issues and collaborating with engineering on product improvements.
What you’ll do
Resolve complex software and hardware issues
Improve support documentation and procedures
Partner with engineering on customer pain points and product development
Communicate with customers during major incidents
What you’ll need
1+ years in cloud support operations or systems engineering
Strong experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) or GPU cloud providers
Very strong Linux (Ubuntu) system administration and Python (including venv, Anaconda)
Proficiency with monitoring/logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog)
Experience with virtualization (KVM, VMware, Hyper-V) and containers (Docker, Kubernetes)
Knowledge of CUDA, NCCL, NVLink, MIG, GPUDirect RDMA and high throughput networking (IB/RoCE)
