About the role
LexisNexis Risk Solutions seeks a Software Engineering Lead to manage and mentor engineering teams while designing and delivering complex applications. This role combines technical leadership, people management, and engineering best practices within a risk analytics environment.
What you’ll do
Lead software engineers in designing, developing, and delivering complex applications and systems
Provide technical leadership, people management, and mentoring
Partner with internal and external technology resources to solve complex business needs
Write and review portions of detailed specifications for complex system components
Set, communicate, implement, and achieve business objectives through direct management of others
Drive engineering excellence and best practices
What you’ll need
7+ years of Software Engineering experience and 2+ years of software engineering lead experience
BS in Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent experience required
Advanced knowledge of software development methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, and DORA
Strong proficiency with data manipulation languages and optimization techniques
Expertise in C#/.NET, JavaScript, HTML, XML, SQL, and Linux
Strong communication, presentation, and customer service skills
