About the role
Redwire Space Missions seeks an experienced Program Manager to lead complex multi-contract space mission programs for national security customers, overseeing technical performance, cost, schedule, and customer engagement. The role requires an active DoD clearance or eligibility, a technical degree, and 10+ years of program management experience in space systems.
What you’ll do
Direct programs from concept development through launch, on-orbit operations, and sustainment
Oversee technical performance, cost, schedule, and mission assurance
Manage contractual compliance and supplier relationships
Engage with national security customers and mission partners
Shape proposals and recommend technical and programmatic solutions
Lead program teams and coach team members
What you’ll need
Active DoD clearance or eligibility to obtain one
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, or related technical field
10+ years of program management experience delivering spacecraft, subsystems, payloads, or ground systems
Experience with DoD, U.S. Space Force, SDA, AFRL, and NASA space programs
Familiarity with spacecraft architecture, payload integration, comms, optical payloads, avionics, environmental test, and mission operations
U.S. Citizen or U.S. Person under ITAR
