About the role
ServiceNow seeks a Staff Software Engineer to lead design, development, and delivery of complex systems for its internal Go-To-Market applications and Sales CRM team, while setting technical direction and mentoring engineers.
What you’ll do
Lead design, development, and delivery of complex systems supporting commercial workflows across Sales, Deal Desk, Legal, and Procurement
Set technical direction and mentor engineers
Collaborate with TPMs and business stakeholders to clarify ambiguous requirements
Own production systems end-to-end
Participate in L3 incident and support for internal production systems
Raise quality through code review and mentoring
What you’ll need
8+ years of practical software engineering experience with production systems owned end-to-end
Strong fundamentals in data structures, system design, REST/GraphQL, relational data modeling, and testing
Hands-on microservices experience including event-driven architecture like Kafka
Working front-end skills with a modern component framework
Current experience with agentic workflows, LLM integration, RAG, knowledge graphs, MCP, or prompt engineering
Experience with billing, contracts, quoting, usage-based commercial systems, Kafka/NoSQL, or ServiceNow Platform is a plus
