About the role
EvolutionIQ is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to build and modernize AI-powered enterprise SaaS applications for insurance claims, developing scalable backend services and collaborating with Product, Data Science, and Data Engineering teams. This is a remote, full-time role paying $215K-$230K per year.
What you’ll do
Build and modernize enterprise SaaS applications
Develop scalable backend services
Use AI-assisted and agentic engineering tools in daily development workflow
Collaborate with Product, Data Science, and Data Engineering teams
Move between rapid prototyping and production development
Contribute to high engineering standards and best practices
What you’ll need
5+ years of engineering experience delivering features end-to-end
Strong hands-on experience with Python and TypeScript/JavaScript applications
Experience designing scalable backend systems with multi-tenant architectures and relational database design
Comfortable using AI-assisted and agentic engineering tools in daily workflow
Experience writing technical design documents and participating in code reviews
Ability to translate customer business problems into technical solutions and communicate impact
