About the role
WM seeks an Environmental Project Manager to oversee safe and compliant healthcare waste management for customers, including compliance-based service implementations and operational support. The role requires medical waste expertise, consultative customer skills, and on-site presence at client locations.
What you’ll do
Provide strategic guidance on safe, compliant, and efficient management of healthcare waste streams
Manage compliance-based service implementations
Support customer relationships and operational performance
What you’ll need
3 years of healthcare industry experience or equivalent project/customer management experience
Excellent working knowledge of medical waste issues and the healthcare industry
Consultative skills to effectively deal with customers
Confident with public speaking duties
Functional experience with Microsoft PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, and Teams
Willingness to be on-site at WMHS customer locations and comply with immunization requirements; Bachelor's degree or equivalent with OSHA/EPA-RCRA/DOT/Joint Commission knowledge preferred
