About the role
Cognite is hiring for the Atlas AI team to build robust, scalable backend services that power intelligent agents, define architecture, and support reliable, performant, and secure AI services on an industrial data platform.
What you’ll do
Build robust, scalable backend services for intelligent agents
Integrate AI capabilities into Cognite's offerings
Define architecture for AI services
Ensure reliable, performant, and secure AI services
Take ownership of code performance in production
What you’ll need
5+ years of professional software development experience focused on backend systems
Authoritative knowledge of Python and its ecosystem
Experience designing and operating large-scale systems with Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform
Proven track record building scalable APIs and microservices with SQL, NoSQL, or Graph databases
Experience building production-grade applications on top of LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic, LangChain, etc.)
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
