About the role
GXO Logistics seeks a Business Intelligence Engineer to build analytics dashboards, reports, and data tools for warehouse operations. The role involves querying cloud data warehouses, improving data governance, refactoring SQL, and supporting stakeholders through BI solutions.
What you’ll do
Develop and deploy analytics, dashboards, reports, and applications
Gather requirements from users and operations stakeholders
Query cloud-native data warehouses for ad-hoc reporting
Refactor legacy SQL queries and validate results for end users
Improve data governance with scopes and permissions
Encapsulate complex logic in UDFs, TVFs, and stored procedures
What you’ll need
Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience
Hands-on experience working directly with on-site warehouse or distribution center operations
Experience querying cloud-native data warehouses such as BigQuery, Redshift, or Microsoft Fabric
Advanced SQL skills including query execution plans and ETL concepts
Experience developing and deploying interactive web applications using HTML/CSS/JavaScript
Master's degree in a related field and 3 years of experience with reporting systems, BI tools, and statistical modeling
