About the role
ICE is hiring a Senior AI Engineer to build and operate an internal AI-powered developer platform for its Release Engineering Development team. The role focuses on agentic workflows, CI/CD automation, secure LLM integrations, and reducing friction across the engineering organization.
What you’ll do
Build and operate an internal AI-powered developer platform
Develop agentic workflows and integrations to automate engineering development, release, and operational processes
Ensure security, reliability, and oversight of AI automations
Integrate agents, skills, MCP integrations, and the registry as a cohesive developer product
Evaluate LLM outputs using evaluation sets, regression testing, and quality metrics
Reduce friction and build trust across the engineering organization
What you’ll need
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
5+ years of professional experience in software engineering, DevOps, or release engineering with platform or internal tooling work
Hands-on experience with CI/CD and Git-based source control platforms such as GitHub or Bitbucket
Strong understanding of agentic patterns, prompt engineering, context-window management, and AI security risks
Experience with agentic technologies and LLM APIs with tool calling and structured output
Experience with RAG, vector databases, cloud AI platforms, containers, IaC, and observability tools
