About the role
Altana is hiring a Senior Staff Software Engineer to design and deliver scalable customer-facing workflows, services, and APIs while leading technical decisions and engineering execution. What you’ll do
Design and deliver scalable customer-facing workflows, services, and APIs
Lead technical decisions, quality, and engineering execution across a team
Deliver incremental releases from proof-of-concept to MVP to production
Take over codebases and drive new feature development
Prioritize and focus on high-impact areas intentionally
Lead other engineers on complex projects
What you’ll need
BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
12+ years of professional experience writing backend or data-driven software
Experience deploying production code and services to cloud-hosted environments
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
Experience using workflow orchestration technologies like Temporal
Strong written and verbal communication skills
