This role provides technical leadership and architectural ownership for Amazon Bedrock Knowledge Bases, building AI data pipelines and large-scale distributed systems that power Retrieval Augmented Generation workflows. The engineer guides project delivery, engineering practices, and the technical roadmap while mentoring the team.
What you’ll do
Provide technical leadership for team-level architecture
Own design and architecture of AI data pipelines and distributed systems
Guide project delivery and technical roadmap
Drive engineering practices and coding standards
Mentor and lead the engineering team
Build scalable and reliable systems for Bedrock Knowledge Bases
What you’ll need
5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language
5+ years of leading design or architecture of new and existing systems
Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team
5+ years of full software development life cycle experience
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
