About the role
Sonar seeks a Senior Revenue Accountant, Technical Lead to own global revenue recognition processes, ensure US GAAP compliance, lead technical accounting reviews, and develop the accounting team.
What you’ll do
Own complex worldwide revenue recognition processes
Ensure accuracy, compliance, and integrity of revenue recognition
Lead technical accounting reviews and close deliverables
Drive cross-functional initiatives

Develop accounting team members
What you’ll need
7+ years of progressive Revenue Accounting experience, including direct ownership of complex ASC 606 judgements
Operational execution at a high-growth SaaS or technology company
Strong knowledge of US GAAP, internal controls, and audit-ready documentation
Proficiency in accounting systems and Excel
Extensive experience using Aptitude RevStream, SFDC, NetSuite, and Stripe
Big 4 background and CA/CPA or similar certification
