Intuit is hiring a Staff Cloud Software Engineer to build and operate edge platforms including CDN, WAF, DNS, and certificates, with deep Akamai expertise and a focus on automated, agentic self-service infrastructure.
What you’ll do
Build and operate CDN, WAF, DNS, certificate, and network self-service platforms
Automate Akamai edge onboarding and optimization
Provide technical leadership and incident response
Ensure operational governance and quality guardrails
Develop closed-loop agentic workflows to reduce manual toil
Drive operational excellence across teams
What you’ll need
BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
Deep hands-on Akamai expertise with Property Manager, WAF, Bot Manager, and related APIs
Strong networking foundation (TCP/IP, HTTP/2, DNS, SSL/TLS, etc.)
Proficiency in Python, Golang, React, Java, and building REST APIs and UIs
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation, CDK, Terraform) and deployment automation
Hands-on AWS experience and familiarity with GCP/Azure preferred
