About the role
Senior PHP developer acting as the primary client-facing technical resource for a cloud-based freight management platform, responsible for resolving production issues, configuring installations, and delivering software enhancements with a focus on customer empathy and strong engineering fundamentals.
What you’ll do
Serve as the primary technical interface for clients
Resolve production issues
Configure client installations
Develop and deploy software enhancements
Convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Debug environment issues and inspect code and system logs
What you’ll need
3+ years of senior PHP experience in a production enterprise environment
Deep proficiency in OOP, design patterns, data structures, and secure coding
Strong PostgreSQL experience including schema design, optimization, and complex queries
Solid understanding of JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, and JSON
Experience designing and consuming RESTful and SOAP web services
Familiarity with Linux server administration, shell scripting, containers, or cloud infrastructure (GCP/AWS)
