About the role
Hilton is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to support Hilton.com and other customer-facing applications as part of its Software Engineering Content team. This role focuses on Java-based full-stack development with APIs and backend services, along with some React frontend work to build scalable digital experiences.
What you’ll do
Support Hilton.com and other customer-facing applications
Develop Java-based full-stack applications and backend services
Build and integrate APIs and microservices
Contribute to React frontend development for scalable digital experiences
Collaborate within the Software Engineering Content team using Git, Jira, and Confluence
Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve efficiency and quality
What you’ll need
Bachelor's Degree, or Associate's Degree plus 5+ years of Technology-related experience, or High School Degree/GED plus 12+ years of Technology-related experience
Three (3) years of professional experience in Technology or a related field
Three (3) years of hands-on experience developing applications using Java
Experience building large-scale applications using Java, APIs, and microservices
Experience designing, building, or integrating RESTful APIs and working with databases
Experience with full-stack application development and front-end technologies such as React, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
