About the role

What you’ll do

• Lead the Applied AI team and deliver safe, adopted AI systems
• Establish technical strategy, architecture, governance, and impact reporting for AI initiatives
• Bring AI capabilities from prototype to production across business workflows
• Close gaps in technical execution and personally debug production agents
• Drive robust CI/CD, tracing, incident response, and latency/cost controls
• Embed AI security, guardrails, and evaluation practices aligned with financial regulations

What you’ll need

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent work experience
• 10+ years in software engineering, machine learning, or related domain
• 2+ years shipping production LLM systems, including agentic or conversational systems live with real users
• 4+ years of management experience and a track record of hiring, growing, coaching, and mentoring teams
• Hands-on ability to debug a misbehaving agent in production and bridge technical teams and leadership
• Expertise in AI SDKs and agent frameworks, production AI building blocks, AWS cloud engineering, and evaluation/security practices
