About the role
Arcfield is seeking a junior systems/mission engineer to support development and integration of space-based sensing and mission capabilities for the US Space Force and national security. The role spans the system lifecycle including requirements, architecture, analysis, integration and test, and mission operations.
What you’ll do
Support development and integration of space-based sensing and mission capabilities
Contribute to systems engineering activities across the system lifecycle
Support requirements, architecture, and analysis efforts
Participate in integration and test and mission operations
Collaborate with technical leads, teammates, customers, and multidisciplinary engineering teams
What you’ll need
BS 2-4 years, MS 0-2 years, or HS 8-10 years of relevant experience
Technical degree or relevant experience including internships or early-career professional experience
Must possess and be able to maintain a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Self-directed, motivated, and willing to take initiative in evolving environments
Knowledge of space systems, sensors, RF/radar, and satellite communications
