About the role
BNY is seeking a Vice President, POM Experience Designer to lead user-centered design for complex digital systems. The role focuses on journey mapping, interaction and UI design, design system contributions, and mentoring junior designers within the Digital Channels team.
What you’ll do
Lead user-centered design ensuring design choices address user needs
Map and analyze end-to-end user journeys to identify pain points and opportunities
Design complex web interfaces, workflows, and intuitive interaction models
Contribute to the global design system and reusable components
Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders
Mentor junior designers and elevate team standards
What you’ll need
Advanced proficiency in Figma and Miro
Experience creating high-fidelity wireframes, prototypes, and mockups
Knowledge of and contribution to global design systems
Understanding of complex systems design challenges
Strong communication and storytelling skills
Experience guiding and mentoring junior designers
