About the role

What you’ll do
Develop and deploy onboard vision algorithms for EO/IR sensors on autonomous aircraft
Implement detection and tracking algorithms
Perform image processing for real-time vision systems
Optimize vision software for embedded platforms
Validate algorithm performance using real flight imagery and flight tests
What you’ll need
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent practical experience
Professional experience developing computer vision software in C++ and Python
Experience with OpenCV and a deep learning framework such as PyTorch
Experience with object detection and tracking algorithms
Working knowledge of camera models, calibration, and multi-view geometry
Experience deploying vision software on embedded or real-time systems and on hardware outside the lab; U.S. Person status required
