About the role
General Motors is hiring a Senior Product Manager to own the Synthetic Data strategy and roadmap, helping scale data production and improve training data and insights for autonomy development and validation. This hybrid role is based in Sunnyvale, CA or Warren, MI and requires deep product, simulation, and ML infrastructure experience.
What you’ll do
Define and execute the strategy and roadmap for synthetic data
Increase trust and scale data production
Support autonomy development and validation teams with better training data and insights
Collaborate across product management, program management, design, and engineering teams
Balance tradeoffs between user needs, technical requirements, and business objectives
What you’ll need
5+ years of product management experience
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
Solid understanding of simulation platforms, ML orchestration infrastructure, and validation workflows
Ability to navigate ambiguity and balance tradeoffs across user, technical, and business needs
Demonstrated expertise in writing and integrating vision, strategy, and technical details
Experience with autonomous vehicles, ML infrastructure, or large-scale simulation/testing
