About the role

What you’ll do

• Serve as global subject matter expert for AI-enabled physical products and cyber-physical systems
• Provide technical leadership for Physical AI technologies
• Develop standards, assessments, testing, certification, advisory, and training services
• Address safety and trustworthiness for emerging Physical AI technologies
• Translate technical hazards, risk assessments, and regulatory expectations into practical evaluation criteria and certification programs
• Influence customers, regulators, standards bodies, and cross-functional leaders

What you’ll need

• Bachelor's degree in Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, AI, Computer Science, or related technical discipline
• 15+ years of technical experience in robotics, autonomous systems, embedded systems, cyber-physical systems, product safety, functional safety, controls, AI-enabled products, or related domains, including 5+ years with AI-enabled physical systems
• Hands-on experience developing, integrating, evaluating, testing, or validating AI-enabled physical systems, autonomous technologies, robotics, or cyber-physical systems
• Knowledge of Physical AI failure modes, hazards, risks, and evaluation methodologies
• Familiarity with applicable robotics, machinery, product safety, functional safety, cybersecurity, and AI governance standards or regulatory frameworks
• Strong technical writing, presentation, and stakeholder engagement capabilities
