About the role
SS&C Advent is hiring a Staff Front End Software Engineer to modernize its Geneva portfolio management and accounting platform by building scalable React and TypeScript applications, reusable components, and evolving frontend architecture and standards.
What you’ll do
Build scalable React and TypeScript applications
Develop reusable components and shared frontend platforms
Define and evolve frontend technical architecture and standards
Collaborate with UX, Business Analyst, and QA teams
Drive frontend technology roadmaps across multiple teams
Conduct design reviews, code reviews, and mentor engineers
What you’ll need
10+ years of professional Web UI/frontend development experience
Strong hands-on expertise in React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
Staff-level technical leadership including architecture decisions, code reviews, and mentoring
Experience with monorepo, micro-frontend, or modular architectures using Nx, Turborepo, or pnpm
Experience with OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, Docker, and Kubernetes
