What you’ll do

• Lead strategy, architecture, and execution of Uber's developer platform
• Scale developer infrastructure and workflows across the organization
• Lead a large engineering organization, including managers of managers
• Drive the transition to AI-assisted software development
• Champion developer experience and platform migrations across a multi-thousand-person engineering organization

What you’ll need

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
• 15+ years of software engineering experience building and deploying complex large-scale systems
• 10+ years of direct management experience leading engineering teams, including managers of managers and executive leadership
• Engineering leadership at dedicated developer-tooling companies or large-scale internal developer platforms (100+ engineers)
• Deep domain expertise in developer tooling, infrastructure, DevEx, build systems, CI/CD, or distributed platform engineering
• Experience integrating LLMs, code intelligence, and AI-driven automation into developer workflows, with familiarity across startup and enterprise environments, mobile toolchains, and distributed backend architectures
