About the role
SOCOTEC seeks a Regional Fire & Life Safety Manager to establish and grow its fire protection engineering division in the Mid-Atlantic, overseeing business development, client relationships, project delivery, financial performance, and team development. Candidates need a PE license and 7-10 years of fire protection engineering experience with a leadership background.

Launch and grow the fire protection engineering division in the Mid-Atlantic
Lead market development and client relationships
Manage project delivery and operational performance
Drive financial performance of the business unit
Develop and lead the engineering team
What you’ll need
Bachelor's degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
Professional Engineer (PE) license in Fire Protection Engineering or ability to obtain one
Minimum 7-10 years in fire protection engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership/managerial role
Strong knowledge of fire protection systems design, building codes, and safety regulations (NFPA, IBC, UBC)
Experience managing or starting a technical/engineering business unit
Proven business development, client relationship management, and project acquisition track record
