About the role
Mastercard is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to build secure, scalable cloud-native connectivity platforms for Cloud Connect, developing AWS and Golang services that link customers to Mastercard across public cloud and private networks. What you’ll do
Develop AWS and Golang services for Cloud Connect connectivity platforms
Design, deploy, and operate cloud-native solutions on AWS
Build and operate containerized applications using Kubernetes and Docker
Conduct code reviews and promote engineering best practices
Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks
Implement observability practices including logging, monitoring, alerting, and incident response
What you’ll need
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
7+ years of software engineering experience designing, developing, and supporting enterprise applications
2+ years of hands-on experience developing applications using Go (Golang)
Experience designing, deploying, and operating cloud-native solutions on AWS, including VPC, Transit Gateway, PrivateLink, Route 53, Network Load Balancers, and Direct Connect
Experience building and operating containerized applications using Kubernetes, Amazon EKS, Docker, and related cloud-native technologies
Strong understanding of distributed systems, scalability, performance optimization, and efficient data structure design
