About the role
Marathon TS is seeking an HPC Infrastructure & Cluster Engineer to manage and optimize a high-performance computing environment supporting intensive AI/ML workloads. The role requires active TS/SCI clearance and expertise in Linux cluster administration, GPU infrastructure, workload scheduling, high-speed networking, storage, and containerized environments.
What you’ll do
Manage and optimize high-performance computing environments for AI/ML workloads
Administer Linux clusters and bare-metal servers
Manage GPU infrastructure and high-speed networking configurations
Configure workload managers, job schedulers, and AI orchestration tools
Support container orchestration platforms such as OpenShift or Kubernetes
Diagnose and resolve complex hardware, network, and OS-level issues
What you’ll need
Active TS/SCI clearance with ability to obtain CI Poly
US Citizenship required
5+ years of Linux systems administration and infrastructure management experience
Expertise in HPC environments, including InfiniBand and enterprise storage arrays
Proficiency with workload managers like SLURM and orchestration tools like Run:AI
Experience with OpenShift or Kubernetes and automation scripting in Bash or Python
