About the role
BNY is seeking a Senior Specialist Full-Stack Engineer to develop and enhance Investment Analytics applications using Java and Angular, covering both frontend and backend development. The role involves working with microservices, event-driven architectures, security models, and DevOps practices within the Performance & Compliance Team.
What you’ll do
Develop and enhance Investment Analytics applications and capabilities
Build and maintain Java backend and Angular frontend applications
Work with micro frontend frameworks and adapt to custom frontend frameworks
Design and implement RESTful web services and microservices-based architectures
Implement and maintain security models such as OAuth2/OIDC/JWT
Investigate and resolve production issues using code and Splunk logs
What you’ll need
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline, or equivalent work experience
3-4 years of experience as a Java & Angular developer/programmer
Proficiency in Java 17, Spring 6, Spring Boot 3, Angular 6-17, HTML, CSS, Node.js, Nvm, and JSON
Understanding of MVC and JDBC design and architectural patterns
Experience with event-driven patterns such as Kafka and RabbitMQ, and distributed caching with Redis or Hazelcast
Familiarity with OAuth2/OIDC/JWT security models
