REALM is hiring a Hardware Validation Engineer for an unnamed global cloud infrastructure company to own end-to-end server platform validation from first article through production sign-off. This remote role requires deep server hardware expertise, BMC/BIOS experience, and Linux-based test automation skills.
What you’ll do
Own end-to-end validation of new server platforms
Drive platforms from first article through production sign-off
Provide final go/no-go decisions
What you’ll need
5+ years in hardware validation, systems test, or data center hardware engineering
Strong server fundamentals: CPU, memory, PCIe, NVMe, NICs, power and thermal
Hands-on BMC/IPMI/Redfish and UEFI/BIOS experience
Experience with Linux, shell scripting, and test automation
Familiarity with stress and diagnostic tools such as stress-ng, FIO, memtest, and iperf
Clear written communication; DCGM or MLPerf experience is a bonus
