About the role
MSCI is hiring a Full Stack Engineer to build and operate its client-facing private assets diligence platform, spanning web interfaces, backend services, data models, and AI-powered workflows. The role works closely with clients and product, design, and AI engineering teams in a fast-moving environment.
What you’ll do
Build and operate the client-facing diligence platform across web, backend, data, and AI workflows

What you’ll need
3+ years of software engineering experience building and operating production web applications end to end
Strong front-end experience with React, Next.js, and TypeScript
Solid backend experience in Python, including APIs (FastAPI or similar), relational databases (MySQL or Postgres), and async or background job processing
Experience integrating LLM APIs into product features, including prompt design and tool calling
Strong product sense and ability to work directly with clients and non-technical stakeholders
Experience in financial services, private markets, or forward-deployed product engineering roles
