About the role
Tesla is seeking a Robotics Manufacturing Engineer for its Rotor Manufacturing division to develop and ramp automated production processes for the Optimus humanoid robot. The role owns equipment and process development from installation through continuous improvement, coordinating with cross-functional teams and suppliers.
What you’ll do
Develop high-volume automated production processes and lines
Own equipment and process development through installation, production ramp, validation, and continuous improvement
Coordinate with cross-functional teams and suppliers
What you’ll need
Strong hands-on experience with high-volume and pilot manufacturing
Proven track record of data driven methodology to solve complex problems
Mastery of 3D and 2D CAD tools (SolidWorks, AutoCAD or equivalent)
Manufacturing process development, specification and evaluation experience
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, or equivalent experience
