About the role
Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan seeks an IT Release Train Engineer to act as a servant leader and coach for an Agile Release Train, aligning teams, removing impediments, and driving continuous improvement through Lean-Agile and SAFe practices.
What you’ll do
Align cross-functional teams within the Agile Release Train
Remove impediments and facilitate delivery events
Advance continuous improvement and Lean-Agile practices
Mentor and coach ART members, including Scrum Masters and delivery teams
Use data to tell an accurate story and improve predictability, flow, and delivery
Manage effective governance within the Scaled Agile Framework
What you’ll need
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
7+ years leading Agile delivery or transformation initiatives
5+ years as a Release Train Engineer, Senior Scrum Master, Agile Coach, or comparable leadership role
SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE) certification and Scrum Master certification
Deep knowledge of SAFe principles, practices, and events
Experience in healthcare, health insurance, or another highly regulated industry
