About the role
FirstEnergy Utilities is hiring an Advanced Business Analyst to support FE Pennsylvania Operations with analytics, reporting, and application support. The role focuses on resource management, finance, reliability, safety performance, process improvement, and storm response using Power BI and internal utility applications.
What you’ll do
Provide analytical, technical, and operational support to FE Pennsylvania Operations
Support resource management, finance, reliability, and safety performance reporting
Develop, test, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions
Deploy data sources and reports in the Power BI cloud service
Support application management and process improvement
Participate in storm response activities
What you’ll need
Four-year degree in Engineering, Business Administration/Management, Information Science, Information Systems, or related discipline; 10 years of related experience in lieu of degree
Minimum of 8 years of related work experience
Experience developing, testing, and maintaining Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions, including Power BI cloud service
Experience with SQL, DAX, Power Query M, and workflow automation tools such as Power Automate
Working knowledge of database structures, joins, and data relationships
Experience with applications such as EDOA/iTOA, SOR, FALLS, RAAD, and Empower
