About the role

What you’ll do

• Lead analytics for the Life Insurance organization, overseeing a team of two analysts
• Develop models, dashboards, and data products to inform distribution, sales, customer/agent experience, and operations decisions
• Partner with senior business leaders to translate ambiguous questions into analytics requirements, prioritized roadmaps, and measurable outcomes
• Lead complex, cross-functional analytics initiatives with IT, data science, product, and vendor partners from concept through implementation
• Establish data quality, governance, and reporting standards and resolve data issues across systems
• Communicate insights and recommendations clearly to executive and non-technical audiences

What you’ll need

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; 7-10 years of related work experience in business intelligence, analytics, or data science
• Experience building enterprise reporting and dashboards in Power BI (or comparable), including data modeling and DAX
• Experience applying statistical and predictive modeling techniques such as regression, segmentation, propensity, or retention modeling
• Hands-on proficiency with SQL and experience with data warehouses, data marts, and cloud-based data platforms across multiple source systems
• Experience partnering with senior leaders and leading cross-functional analytics initiatives with IT, data science, product, and vendor partners
• People management experience including coaching and developing analysts; insurance or financial services experience preferred, ideally in Life Insurance
