About the role
Fortive seeks a Senior Director to lead enterprise Product Security and AI Security strategy and operations, embedding secure-by-design controls across software, connected products, firmware, and AI while partnering across operating companies. The role requires deep executive leadership experience in product/application/AI security and building AI security programs in a large global enterprise.
What you’ll do
Lead enterprise Product Security and AI Security strategy and operations
Embed secure-by-design controls across software, connected products, firmware, and AI capabilities
Lead a team and partner across operating companies and functions
Collaborate with engineering, product management, legal, privacy, and compliance teams to translate security requirements into scalable controls
Contribute to cross-functional AI governance within product environments
Drive security transformation during organic growth and acquisitions
What you’ll need
Minimum 8 years of executive leadership experience in product security, application security, or AI security
Minimum 12 years of progressive experience in enterprise information security, software engineering security, or related risk management in a large global enterprise
Deep expertise in secure software development, cloud-native architectures, DevSecOps, API security, and modern application security practices
Experience building AI security programs, including model and AI supply-chain risk management
Experience collaborating with engineering, product management, legal, privacy, and compliance teams
Strong understanding of global product security and AI regulations such as the EU Cyber Resilience Act and EU AI Act
