About the role
Seeking an experienced Geothermal Drilling Engineer to plan and execute drilling projects including geothermal, exploratory, solution-mining, and disposal wells, with responsibility for well design, drilling programs, and project management from proposal through execution. Requires 15+ years of drilling engineering experience and strong client and business development skills.
What you’ll do
Plan and execute drilling projects, including exploratory drilling, solution-mining, geothermal wells, and disposal wells
Develop well designs and drilling programs with engineers and client personnel
Manage projects from proposal through execution
Prepare AFEs and track costs with financial accountability
Manage schedules, subcontractors, and client interfaces
Support business development efforts and build client relationships
What you’ll need
Bachelor of science degree in petroleum, geological, or mining engineering
Minimum 15 years of drilling engineering experience
Experience in casing design, drilling fluids, testing, and well design
Prior experience in AFE preparation, cost tracking, financial accountability, and procurement services
Professional license or ability to achieve professional license
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
