About the role

What you’ll do

• Build Python services integrating external SaaS platforms with internal systems
• Keep data accurate and synchronized across platforms
• Perform backend integration work and automation
• Support organization-wide adoption of AI tools
• Teach and advise colleagues on AI tools
• Review AI-generated output critically, especially around security and data handling

What you’ll need

• 5+ years as a senior software engineer or full-stack developer across the full development lifecycle
• Strong Python skills for backend development, scripting, and automation
• Hands-on third-party API integration experience with OAuth 2.0, webhooks, pagination, rate limiting, and retry handling
• Solid SQL and relational database fundamentals, preferably MySQL; deployment experience with AWS (RDS, EC2, ECS) and Docker
• Working knowledge of a modern JavaScript framework, TypeScript/JavaScript, Git workflows, and secure handling of sensitive data
• Comfort with AI coding assistants and willingness to teach/advise on AI tools; background in home services, WordPress, or LLM features is a plus
