About the role
Tulip Interfaces seeks a Senior Software Engineering Manager to lead the identity and access function on its cloud-native frontline operations platform. The role owns architecture and roadmap, develops a small engineering team, and delivers secure, reliable systems for enterprise customers.
What you’ll do
Lead the identity and access function
Own architecture and roadmap for the platform
Develop and grow a small engineering team
Deliver secure, reliable systems for enterprise customers
Hire and provide constructive feedback
Hold the team to a standard of clean, tested code
What you’ll need
7+ years building and operating security-critical or identity/access systems in production
3+ years managing a software team, including hiring and growing engineers
Hands-on depth with OAuth 2.0, SAML 2.0, OIDC, and SCIM in enterprise environments
Experience building multi-tenant systems where tenant isolation is a hard requirement
Working knowledge of IAM, secrets management, and access policy across AWS and Azure
Active use of AI tooling with a point of view on how it changes the way teams build
