What you’ll do
Build and productionize agentic AI systems for PowerAlpha platform
Develop backend services, AI agents, and workflows
Combine LLMs with optimization models and data for renewable energy decisions
Own complex technical initiatives from architecture through deployment
Mentor other engineers
What you’ll need
5+ years software engineering with backend focus
Extensive experience with Generative AI applications and agent frameworks
Expert-level Python development for production APIs and async apps
Experience with agentic workflows, multi-step reasoning, tool orchestration
Strong testing practices and evaluation of non-deterministic AI systems
Experience with PostgreSQL, GCP, Kubernetes, Datadog, MCP servers
