About the role
Fanatics is hiring an Engineering Manager to lead engineering teams building high-quality software for customer-facing products and internal platforms, including the Fanatics App mobile sports platform. The role requires experience managing engineers, scaling systems, and working collaboratively across product, technical, and non-technical teams in a fast-paced environment.
What you’ll do
Lead engineering teams building and delivering high-quality software
Manage delivery for customer-facing products and internal platforms
Oversee the Fanatics App mobile sports platform and related experiences
Deconstruct architecture to be developed by different teams
Scope projects with targeted dates to meet business needs
Negotiate feature prioritization with Product Management
What you’ll need
1+ years of experience managing an engineering team
4+ years of experience building highly scalable and fault-tolerant systems
Knowledge of broad design approaches and architecture deconstruction
Familiarity with Agile software delivery and SCRUM methodology
Strong mobile software engineering background
Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform and/or Compose Multiplatform
