About the role
The Sr. Analyst, Risk Management at Petco builds and maintains risk and claims reporting, supports annual renewal cycles, and improves risk processes. This remote-capable role requires strong Excel skills and risk management experience.
What you’ll do
Build and distribute recurring risk and claims reporting
Track retained and out-of-pocket losses below deductible
Compile and validate exposure data for renewals
Support subrogation and recovery efforts
Assemble data for actuarial reviews and audits
Maintain SharePoint site and document risk processes
What you’ll need
Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Insurance, Business, Analytics, Finance or related field
Minimum 5 years experience in risk management, insurance, claims, or analytics
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, large-data manipulation)
Experience with RMIS, claims system, or structured claims data preferred
Strong organizational skills and ability to handle confidential information
ARM or progress toward insurance designation preferred
