About the role
Marriott International is hiring a FLEX Senior Software Engineer for its Android Platform Team to advance the Marriott Bonvoy app through Android and cross-platform development. The role includes technical leadership, coordination of projects and deployments, and building scalable solutions with Kotlin and Kotlin Multiplatform.
What you’ll do
Advance the Marriott Bonvoy app through Android and cross-platform development
Provide technical leadership on a feature team
Coordinate projects, service providers, and deployment activities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Kotlin and KMP
Contribute to development and maintenance of SDKs and libraries
Accomplish results through others in a managed service environment
What you’ll need
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience/certification
7+ years of software development experience with expert-level expertise in multiple programming languages and methodologies
3+ years of hands-on Android native development using Kotlin and Java
Demonstrated expertise with Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) for cross-platform solutions
Experience in technical leadership on a feature team and developing apps for large user bases
Proficiency with Android Architecture components, MVVM/MVI patterns, testing frameworks, and DevOps tools
