About the role
The Director of Business Analysis will lead the business analysis function for the Massachusetts Department of Mental Health, guiding technology-enabled solutions for clinical, programmatic, and operational needs. This role oversees EHR and enterprise application implementation, optimization, process improvement, and change management.
What you’ll do
Lead and manage the business analysis team
Support implementation and optimization of electronic health records and enterprise applications
Drive process improvement and requirements development
Develop functional documentation and conduct workflow analysis
Coordinate training, change management, and user adoption strategies
Facilitate collaboration with IT, clinical leadership, and stakeholders
What you’ll need
6+ years in business administration, management, or clinical administration
At least 2 years in project management or supervisory capacity
Extensive background in business analysis and healthcare information systems
Demonstrated success leading and developing business analyst teams
Expertise in requirements gathering, workflow analysis, and user acceptance testing
Familiarity with EHR systems such as Oracle Health and Meditech
