About the role
Stratolaunch seeks a Senior AI Solutions Engineer to build and operate infrastructure, integrations, and developer tools for deploying AI across aerospace and business teams. The role focuses on MLOps, cloud (AWS), LLM/RAG systems, and reliable production software.
What you’ll do
Build and operate infrastructure, integrations, and developer tools for AI capabilities
Design, deploy, and operate reliable, observable software or ML systems in production
Develop and integrate APIs, services, plugins, and software interfaces
Host, maintain, monitor, and optimize LLM and RAG systems
Run models and inference workloads in AWS services
Collaborate with stakeholders to evaluate technical options and deliver practical solutions
What you’ll need
5-10 years in software engineering, cloud infrastructure, data engineering, MLOps, or AI engineering
Experience with ML workloads, cloud infrastructure, and model deployment in AWS
Proficiency in one or more programming languages (Python, Rust, C, MATLAB, or equivalent)
Experience with containerization, deployment, and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, Dagster)
Experience with logging, monitoring, troubleshooting, and production support
Familiarity with DevSecOps and CI/CD systems (Jenkins, GitLab, Bamboo)
