About the role
SoundCloud seeks a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to own the technical direction and implementation of artist-facing products like the A&R Dashboard and Fan Insights, working across frontend, API, backend, and data systems.
What you’ll do
Own technical direction, architecture, and implementation of artist success products
Build and evolve complex, high-quality products across frontend, API, backend, and data systems
Navigate user-facing application logic, service architecture, data-intensive systems, and infrastructure bottlenecks
Explain complex technical trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate across engineering, product, design, and data
Leverage modern AI and agentic tools to improve quality and velocity while maintaining code quality and user experience
What you’ll need
4-6+ years of experience with React and modern frontend development
Strong proficiency in GraphQL and TypeScript for building reliable APIs and services
Familiarity with Golang or Scala
Strong understanding of storage, querying, and data-intensive systems such as BigQuery and SQL
Strong capability in Infrastructure as Code, particularly Terraform, and container orchestration
Ability to leverage modern AI and agentic tools while maintaining code quality and standards
