About the role
Vertex Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Director, AI Product Delivery Owner to lead AI-enabled products for Commercial, Medical Affairs, and External Affairs across US and international markets. The role connects business needs with design, data science, engineering, governance, and adoption teams to drive measurable outcomes.
What you’ll do
Own the vision, strategy, roadmap, delivery, adoption, and lifecycle performance of AI-enabled products
Translate business and end-user needs into scalable product decisions
Manage prioritization, backlogs, requirements, and outcome measurement
Evaluate trade-offs across value, feasibility, risk, responsible AI, compliance, cost, and sustainability
Influence senior stakeholders and align matrixed teams
Balance global reuse with market-specific needs
What you’ll need
Bachelor's degree in business, science, engineering, computer science, information systems, data science, design, or related discipline
10 years of experience in product management, product ownership, digital transformation, business technology, or AI-enabled solution delivery
Experience owning complex products from discovery through delivery, launch, adoption, measurement, and optimization
Advanced product management skills including strategy, roadmaps, prioritization, backlogs, requirements, and outcome measurement
Working knowledge of generative AI, machine learning, analytics, data products, intelligent workflows, and agent-based solutions
Strong business analysis and executive communication skills
