About the role
V2X is seeking a Senior Software Developer with DevOps expertise to support a government customer by automating software and network services. The role involves leading complex automation projects, guiding junior developers, and maintaining systems in a virtual environment.
What you’ll do
Develop and automate software and network services
Support operation, performance, and maintenance of systems in a virtual environment
Lead complex automation projects and guide junior developers
Develop automated testing scripts integrated with CI/CD pipelines
Develop data models and implement YANG
Operate within CI/CD, DevOps, and Agile environments
What you’ll need
Minimum 11 years relevant experience; Bachelor's or Master's degree preferred
Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance
5-7 years hands-on Python programming/scripting with at least 2 years in network automation
Self-starter able to lead complex automation projects and guide junior developers
Experience with Ansible, Cisco NSO, NetBox, and YANG data modeling
Experience developing automated tests with PyATS/Jenkins in a CI/CD pipeline
